Are batteries included in the eGlide Kit?
Yes, the kit comes with 2 AAA batteries.

Can you use it without the gel?
No, the conductive gel permits the galvanic energy to conduct down to the hair follicle so you need the gel for it to work properly.

Can I purchase the gel separately?
Absolutely, just search for Verseo Conductive Gel. It is the same gel that is used by the ePen and ePad. Or purchase additional gel here

How many times do I need to use the eGlide before I see definitive results?
Each person is different. Some people's hair growth cycles are more rapid than others. However, most people start to see benefits with the first three uses.

Is the eGlide painful?
If you've ever had electrolysis treatments, you should experience the same sensation. There is tingling but most do not experience actual "pain".

Can the eGlide be used on any hair type?
Yes, the eGlide works on all hair types and hair color and can be used on any part of the body.

What is meant by "cycles"?
The eGlide roller needs to be rolled over your desired area in a smooth and constant back and forth motion. Don't worry if there is not enough room for roller movement. As long as metal is in contact, it will work. If it loses contact with skin, eGlide will beep 3 times and turn itself off. eGlide works in Cycles that differ between the face and body. Please watch video found on Product Description tab in its entirety to see exact indication of how long each cycle should last and how often you may use eGlide.

How long should my hair be to use eGlide?
The eGlide is most effective when hair is just starting to grow past skin.

Do I need to pluck or wax after use?
It is recommended hair is plucked after use to remove stubborn hairs. Tweezers are included. The hair follicle is damaged with the use of eGlide so eventually prevents new hair growth but some existing hairs may remain if they are not plucked or waxed. This of course varies by person.
